Surviving the Xbox 360 Red Lights of Death

When Xbox 360 hit the market, it was the hottest gaming system available. Users did not mind the $300 to $400 price tag attached to the system. They didn't even mind the waiting list for popular games. There was one single aspect to owning an Xbox 360 gaming system that had heart stopping results.

The dreaded Xbox 360 three red lights of death caused more fear than Halo 3 being taken off the market.

Once the system has had a few moments to rest, it should be ready to be rebooted. If this step fails, a user can remove the hard drive and attempt to reboot again. These two steps are typically all that are needed to get the system up and running again.

Users typically put a lot of strain on the gaming system by playing it constantly. Xbox 360 needs time to rest and regroup before carrying out continuous play. Then it is business as usual.
